I'm slogging through a Silverlight ...Nice post! I'm slogging through a Silverlight legacy application that is throwing the same error on a long form, 100+ fields. Shorter forms work fine, just like you experienced. I think the problem might be caused from the asynchronous loading of the data previously entered into the form. As the data comes back, randomly, the form fields are constantly changing size, so the Layout Cycle for the whole form is getting blitzed! <br /><br />Anyway, your post gave me some more ideas to try.
